Holiday Recount

Here is my recount from my holiday.

Walking up Whakarongorua
Zoom!Zoom! We walked up Whakarongorua.
Finally we arrived at the top of Whakarongorua. It took my brother, uncle’s and aunties and I one hour and 25 seconds to get up to the top.  The view was amazing. I could see a bridge and the sea from the top of Whakarongorua.
Pitter! Patter! The sky began to cry. I raced to the farm’s water tank. Whakarongorua is so tall I nearly fell over in the soggy, soft sand.
Zoom!Zoom! Then I raced to the bottom of Whakarongorua as it started to rain more. I had fun going down Whakarongorua.

Swimming self assessment

Triathlon

Here is my writing about our school triathlon.
Triathlon
Shiver! Shiver! Mrs Henderson said to get in the swimming pool and swim to the end of the pool. I could not touch the bottom. I had to do two laps in the swimming pool. Zoom!Zoom! l raced to get my helmet and a bike. I walked my bike to the road and rode down Mr Lawrence's driveway on my bike. I rode my bike as fast as I could around the field. As I reached the rock I jumped of my bike. I ran around the back once and ran to the finish line. “Go, go!’’ Mrs White law shouted to me. I skidded to my brother. My brother said, “well done!” At the finish line we had fruit and milk on our swimming towel. I shouted to my dad and uncle by the big playground and the sandpit.
After the race I went to get my hamburger. It was delicious.
